Fund raising and giving back go hand in hand

Christmas Fundraising – we took part in the Peebles Charity Christmas Market, and also held our own event: the Christmas Shopper’s Canteen. That was an all-day event serving Christmas muffins and coffee in the morning, and then soup and sandwiches at lunchtime. Along with this, there was an array of craft stalls to purchase locally [ more… ]

A Harvest of Cake & Coffee!

A Harvest of Cake & Coffee!

This month we held another fundraiser, this time in the Leckie Memorial Church Hall. Our coffee mornings are always popular, not least because we serve excellent (Fairtrade) coffee with sumptuous home-made cakes. Thanks to all who baked, served, or helped in other ways. This event raised £230 for our building fund.
