Vicky’s Tearoom aims to provide a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon once each month, for older people who have difficulty getting out and about independently, and who would enjoy:
Company…
There are plenty of people to have a blether with (although the Tearoom is small enough to feel friendly)
Good food…
Afternoon tea (with delicious home-baking and freshly made sandwiches) is served
A little entertainment…
We arrange to have music, reminiscence, gently “armchair exercise”, a game, or other activities after tea. Joining in is always optional!
Transport…
Friendly volunteer drivers collect each guest, and return them home at the end of the afternoon.
There is no charge for Vicky’s Tearoom, which welcomes guests of any, or no, faith. The tearoom is normally open on the second Sunday of each month, from 3 – 5pm.
Please note that this month, Vicky’s Tearoom is a week early, on Sunday 2nd August. Venue to be confirmed.
