Another creative fundraising event this month. We packed out the Macfarlane Hall with creative folks enjoying a demonstration of the art of Japanese gift wrapping using Furoshiki fabric wrappers by Jenni Armstrong from Edinburgh who has started a successful small business doing this sort of demonstration (see more here). Wrapping paper generally ends up in landfill, and so anything that we can do to reduce our waste is a good thing. Much fun was had by the people who came along, and some creative skills were picked up. We also raised £500 for the building fund!
