It was announced at the Baptist Assembly in Scotland last weekend that the King’s Meadow has been awarded a grant from the Futureshape? Eco Challenge Fund. Run by BMS World Mission, this fund is financed by carbon offsetting travel of BMS and related staff, as well as travel to Baptist Assemblies in the UK. Most of the money goes overseas to some really exciting projects to benefit local communities and protect wildlife, but we’ve been awarded £500 which will be of real help as we continue to develop the garden. Thanks BMS!
