After a lot more back and forwards debate than we’d anticipated, we thank God that planning permission has now finally been granted for the building! The changes that have been agreed include a clerestory window (a long, thin window all the way along the top of the roof) and some panelling in front of the stilts to make the structure look more “connected” to the ground. Both of those changes will look nice, although they will incur more cost than we’d hoped…
