
March is here, and with it Spring has sprung. Well, it feels like that. There are snowdrops appearing around the Meadow, and lots of activity going on to bring the garden back to life after the winter.
Mark (the JCB King) was back this morning, doing some shaping and scraping for us – to be precise, shaping of new landscaped mounds and scraping of paths. The mounds will be planted with shrubs next week at the Community Planting Day, as well as a “fedge” (which is a cross between a fence and a hedge) made of living willow. The paths will have to wait for planning permission to continue, which we hope won’t take much longer…
