Summary

As well as being Valentine’s Day, today is the first Sunday in Lent – the 40 day period in the run up to Easter which Christians have traditionally used to prepare themselves. It’s an opportunity to meditate on Christ’s generosity; reflect on the meaning of daily being with Jesus and on the significance of the cross; and celebrate his resurrection. As part of that, we’re starting a Lent teaching series today linked to 40acts.
