Summary
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness”, says Jesus as he gets to the end of the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount. He goes on: “Rejoice and be glad!” He makes it sound almost as though we should look forward to persecution – how can that be? And what does that mean for us in Scotland today?
