Bib-L: What’s all the fuss about?

Summary

The bestselling (and most shoplifted), most widely translated book of all time – the Bible. Some people love it and centre their lives around its teachings; others regard it as dangerous, outdated, subversive nonsense. So, given all these reactions to a book that was written between 2 and 3 thousand years ago, it does beg the question: Why? What’s all the fuss about? What is this book actually for, and what’s its relevance for us today?
