Another creative fundraising event this month. We packed out the Macfarlane Hall with creative folks enjoying a demonstration of the art of Japanese gift wrapping using Furoshiki fabric wrappers by Jenni Armstrong from Edinburgh who has started a successful small business doing this sort of demonstration (see more here). Afternoon Tea Safari

This month we held an afternoon tea in the gardens of three of our church members in Peebles and Eddleston. The idea was that against a backdrop of daisies, well-tended roses and newly cut lawns, tea, cake and sandwiches would be served and people could enjoy the company of others, bring their friends and neighbours [ more… ]
