We will be having a community planting day on Saturday 8th March, from 10am at the community garden. As well as lots of plants for the raised beds and the new landscaped mounds, we’ll be planting a ‘fedge’ – a cross between a fence and a hedge, made out of living willow (Salix) plants. Why not come along and find out more about fedges, and help us put in the willow and the shrubs. There will be coffee, tea and refreshments served mid-morning to keep us all going, and plenty of friendly chat. Tools will be provided, but if you have gardening gloves, please bring them.
