We packed out the Macfarlane Hall with creative folks enjoying a demonstration of the art of Japanese gift wrapping using Furoshiki fabric wrappers by Jenni Armstrong from Edinburgh who has started a successful small business doing this sort of demonstration (see more here). This month we held an afternoon tea in the gardens of three of our church members in Peebles and Eddleston. Now that the piles are in place, the pre-cast concrete foundation slabs can be installed. Van Elle’s team have been back to swing these monster blocks into place.
